By Melissa Milano What I've liked about the author is his genuine honesty, I've read many passive income books and many of them promise that I would get rich "fast". The author acknowledges the fact that getting rich doesn't happen overnight, and if we want to become financially free we must build our determination and be persistent to achieve our goals even if we don't see immediate results in the beginning. I think this book showed me the correct mindset and attitude that I need to succeed!

On the contrary, you have to be smart and work smart to earn that income. I wanted to learn a thing or two more about it and I opted to read this book. Great book...didn't know if I'd love it because I usually read historical fiction (of which Naomi has some amazing books, as well!!)...but this was a great story. I'm hoping there's a sequel :-) :-)Great character development...lots of twists and turns...keeps your attention! And yes, the hero and heroine sizzle together (in a clean, teenager friendly way! Lol)You will LOVE this story - just get it and start reading!

It provides a kid friendly introduction to the idea of spirituality. The illustrations are very well done and the writing is quite touching. I would highly recommend to any parent who is broaching these issues with their young children.

This is a beautiful way to broach the subject of spirituality with a curious young child, whether you practice a religion or not. It helps a child start to understand the world and their place in it. It is also written in a way that a child who is just learning to read can read out loud to themselves or to others. The pictures are warm, beautiful and familiar. Highly recommend this endearing book!

This book is really helpfull if you are looking to update your themed days, which can mean a lots of lost time on the computer searching for ideas. This book provides lots of interesting examples and kids enjoyed the activities and games. Very recomendable!

About the Author

Verinder K. Syal, born in India, came to the United States in 1971 at the age of twenty-two. During his successful business career, he has run both large businesses—such as Quaker Oats Breakfast Foods, Rice-A-Roni, Ghirardelli Chocolate, and Stella Cheese—and smaller ones, including two he started himself.

For the past decade, Syal has been a consultant and a highly regarded—and award-winning—professor, first at Loyola Business School, and more recently at Northwestern University where he teaches two undergraduate courses: “Principles of Entrepreneurship” and “Leadership, Ethics, and You.”

About the Author Heinrich von Kleist (1777-1811) kam nach dem frühen Tod des Vaters 1788 in das Haus des Predigers S. Cartel und besuchte das französische Gymnasium. 1792 trat er in das Potsdamer Garderegiment ein. Kleist nahm am Rheinfeldzug (1796) teil, wurde Leutnant (1797) und schied 1799 freiwillig aus dem Dienst aus. Dann studierte er Philosophie, Physik, Mathematik und Staatswissenschaft in Frankfurt/O. (1799/1800). Zwischen 1802 und 1803 lebte er in Weimar bei Wieland , wo er auch Goethe und Schiller kennenlernte. 1804 trat er in den preußischen Staatsdienst ein. Er wurde 1807 in Berlin als vermeintlicher Spion festgenommen. 1807-1809 war er in Dresden, wo er mit Tieck verkehrte und mit A. Müller den "Phöbus" herausgab. 1810 gab er mit A. Müller die "Berliner Abendblätter" heraus, die schon kurz darauf wegen Zensurschwierigkeiten eingestellt werden mußten. Ohne literarischen Erfolg, an menschlichen Bindungen zweifelnd und über die politische Lage verzweifelt, nahm er sich gemeinsam mit der unheilbar kranken Henriette Vogel am Wannsee das Leben. Kleist starb am 21.11.1811.

Donald, born in 1946, was just as interested in being famous as in being wealthy. Ms. Blair has taken a complex and difficult subject and made it exciting and fascinating. The Trumps have always deserved analysis beyond the scandal-sheet treatment they usually get in the press. Ms. Blair has provided an account of all the real adventures behind their successes and failures: political, financial and even personal. After reading this book, one feels that the links between strong individuals and the unfolding of history beome clear and alive. The writing is great, the story even better.

Interest Is Not Where You Might Expect By taking a rest The first generation you will read about was never allowed to reach its conclusion, due to an unfortunate early death. The second and third generations of this grandfather, father, and son trio are much longer. The second generation too has recently come to a close after a very long and successful life, in excess of 93 years, and the verdict on the third is still evolving. There is no question where the business acumen was at its greatest, the talent rested with Mr. Fred Trump, the second of the three men, and his story is the one of substance. The grandfather never had a chance to play out what likely would have been a very successful life, but during the time he was a businessman he was creative, bold, and gutsy as any pioneer.Donald Trump is certainly the most well known, for marketing himself is a large part of whom he is and what he does. The name on a building has very little to do with who owns it, who paid for it, or who made it happen. Donald Trump's primary business is Donald Trump. His flair for promotion and obsession with how he is perceived has become his career. There is no question he has had his successful projects, but the question of would they ever have happened without his father is a legitimate one. And he probably would have had much more success and a much larger fortune had he stuck to the business he knew, developing real estate. He got sidetracked with buying an airline, paying absurd prices for casinos that still are far from trophy properties, and while he may have benefited, the holders of stock and various bond issues have not.Fred Trump is the man you would have given your money to and slept soundly at night. He was an astute man of business, he was self-made, and he spent no time promoting who he was. In this manner he was like many other long time major developers in the NYC area that developed massive amounts of real estate and fortunes to match without having any interest in the world knowing what they were worth.Forbes Magazine often documents the calls they receive from Donald Trump complaining about where he is listed on their richest people list. This is not something his father or grandfather ever would have contemplated, nor would they brag to anyone listening how they increased their net worth by failing to honor financial commitments. In the end his charismatic style allowed him to get financial institutions so grossly over invested in his view of the world that he could never be allowed to go bankrupt, as the lenders could not afford it.His predecessors in the family rate much higher on substance, and the newest Mr. Trump rates highly on style. But for all of the perceived satisfaction he would have the public believes he enjoys, in the end the author portrays a man that craves publicity to the detriment of his personal life. Squiring around beautiful women makes for nice pictures, but he and it and getting a bit old.

Family that's who. Unbelievably true. Ms Blair's research spans three generations. Friedrich who eventually earned a fortune in Alaska; his son Fred Jr. who made millions from U.S. government housing programs and his grandson, "the Donald" real estate developer and promoter. The book gives us an up close view of Donald Trump's ego, his wives and their role, his survival after near-bankruptcy, his eagerness for publicity and his "midas" touch. The man can close a deal. Well written and fascinating. Once upon a time there was the Rothchilds and the Rockefellers. This era it seems belongs to the Trump Dynasty.

It is amazing that the writer has been completely neglected. His life story reads like an adventure novel and he packed more into it than Hemingway and Jack London put together. This volume brings together 30 of Morley Roberts’s very best stories and they are absolute gems. The introduction is first class and the footnotes very helpful and interesting. This must be one of the best editions of an unknown Victorian writer I have ever come across. I recommend this volume to anyone who likes Victorian or Edwardian literature and especially Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Louis Stevenson, Kipling, H. G. Wells, Somerset Maugham, and Joseph Conrad. Many of the stories are similar in style to those writers. There are sea stories, weird stories, humorous stories, tales of adventure in America and Australia, and tales of everyday life in the men's clubs and the foggy streets of 1890s London. I really liked “The Miracle of the Black Canon,” “The Anticipator,” “The Crowd,” “Jack-All-Alone,” “Captain Pasco’s First Cyclone,” and “The Fog,” and the articles in the appendix especially the one about how Roberts traveled half way around the world and contrived to meet Robert Louis Stevenson on his South Sea Island.

Wonderful Stories by a Fine Storyteller à la Jack London By August Kramer I had never heard of Morley Roberts before but what an interesting man he seems to have been. I wonder how many other forgotten writers there are waiting to be discovered. He wrote such a variety of stories and they are immensely entertaining. And this is an excellent edition with lots of fascinating biographical information about Roberts. His stories are set all over the world and based on his own wide experience of life. For he worked his way all over America, Canada, and Australia variously as a sailor, railway worker, miner, sheepman, boundary rider, and back in London worked as a civil servant in the India Office and War Office for five years. What a discovery! A great read.

About the Author Kalidasa, perhaps the most extraordinary of India s classical poets, composed seven major works: three plays, two epic poems and two lyric poems. According to legend, he lived at the end of the fourth century, and was one the nine jewels in the court of the Gupta king Chandragupta II. Although very little is known about his life, Kalidasa s popularity has endured for centuries. Srinivas Reddy began studying Sanskrit with his grandfather. Later he trained in classical South Asian languages and literatures at Brown University and University of California, Berkeley. In 2010 his translation of Krishnadevaraya s Telugu epic Amuktamalyada was published as the Penguin Classic The Giver of the Worn Garland. Srinivas is also a concert sitarist and has given numerous recitals around the world. He now lives in Ahmedabad and teaches at IIT Gandhinagar.

The Perfect Blend of Organized Creativity for your Business By Nicky Howell This is a must have for any entrepreneur that is in any stage of their business! Natalie breaks the business planning process down so it is not overwhelming and gets you thinking long term about your goals and dreams for your business. Month by month, there is plenty of room to write down everything you need to make sure your business stays on the track you set. I have read countless business planning and entrepreneurship books during my journey through my MBA and starting my own business; and this is by far the best I have seen that makes it personal to you. Because it is. Natalie proves that she is excellent at what she does, which is encouraging creativity in a way that works and generates sales and growth.
