In the tradition of C.S. Lewis, an allegory of the greatest story of all.
“I am the Eldest, heir to the throne, the One and Only through whom all in the valley must come to return to our father. Do you believe me?”
When a mysterious bridge builder appears with a promise to span the Great Chasm that separates the king of the Mountain from the people of the Valley, a reluctant farmer and his wife must choose between the suspicious mutterings of the Maven--the local bridge building authority--or the impossible reality of a bridge shrouded in mist.
Then the bridge builder’s bold claims put him in direct opposition with the Maven and the farmer’s own family, and the farmer and his wife must face the daunting question: Is the bridge builder a self-deceived lunatic, is he a master con artist, or is he who he says he is--the Eldest, heir to the throne, and the only means by which the people of the Valley can be reunited to their king?
From the Forward by Jeff Chacon, Author of "Dare to Dream Again": “What sets Kim apart is that she is fluent in the language of the heart, which she speaks effortlessly as a native speaker, since that’s where she lives. So when Kim focused her massive writing powers on creating an original and innovative allegory of the greatest, most compelling story ever told, it was destined to become her masterpiece…”

By Gregg Eargle Kim Pullen is a fresh new voice in the Christian market and I applaud her for her work in The Chasm Crosser. I could not wait to get back to it each time I had to put it down. It was exciting to experience “the greatest story ever told” in a new and insightful way. In each character Kim introduced I saw reflections of myself and a variety of people I have known over the years in my personal quest to cross the chasm and to help others cross. I would recommend this book to anyone who has become stale in their relationship with God and I would also recommend giving a copy of this book to anyone you are trying to introduce to Jesus.

By Tracey Johnson Although this is a familiar story that is recognized from the very beginning it quickly becomes one that pulls you in and makes you eager to finish. You can feel the struggle with in the characters hearts and you want to reach in and touch the lives of each one. I applaud the strength and the kindness of the Farmer's wife and I wanted to reach in and grab and hug the little boy. The farmer is one of the best examples of what I godly, good man is. Although it is just as you know it, the story is told from a fantastic view point and is excellently written. I enjoyed it from beginning to end .

I felt compelled to be "in" the book at certain times day and night until I was, myself, across the bridge. It was full of simple insights that highlighted the profundity of day to day adversity, longing, and caring. I was in love with her word usage as well as her ability to capture emotion.
