The focus of the book is to help parents nurture and grow inside their child a flourishing relationship with HaShem. It also focuses on helping parents connect with their children through activities that foster their relationship with one another. The key areas of connection and growth that Michael and Tiffany provide are:• Talk to G-d: provides ideas to help parents pray with their children• Parent-Child Connections: provides devotional tips for parents to try out during devotional time• Family Quest: provides scripture based activities for the family to do together• Talk It Out: provides questions for parents to ask their children that fosters conversationMichael and Tiffany share great insights and information in an easy to understand guidebook format that parents are sure to relate to and successfully implement in their lives and into their children’s lives. Another great thing this book provides is key scriptures for each section that highlights the biblical truths that are being taught.Overall, this book is filled with helpful and encouraging ideas that are simple to utilize and provide outstanding biblical lessons that will help parents connect with their children as they help their children connect with G-d. This book would be great for families with toddlers to middle-school age. It would also be great for families on the go, since road trips are a great place to talk about the biblical truths that are taught in this book.Disclosure: I have received a reviewer copy and/or payment in exchange for an honest review of the product mentioned in this post.

Finding ways to stay connected as they grow and change can often be a challenge. Written with three parts, this book is intended to engage the parents and children and to connect them through shared activities. Each devotion begins with a heading that describes the intended age group. This is followed by a scripture and then the activity or devotion called Family Quest. Instructions are given to the parent to help guide them through how to accomplish each activity. After this is some questions so that the family can talk about what they've just heard or done. The next section is called Parent-Child Connection and is the devotional part that ties everything together. Last is the Talk to God section that gives an outline for a prayer that can be said. This was a neat concept and I was interested to see how it played out. The format is well laid out. There are plenty of instructions and explanations. All of the activities are easy to do. I think this would be great for the parents of young children. I noticed that several of the recommended age groups seemed a bit off to me. The book feels like it's intended for mostly toddlers and early elementary, although some of the devotions say that it works for all ages or upper elementary and teenagers. My older son (middle school) would not find these interesting. But other than that, this is a great book that I think parents and children will love.I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Age-appropriate object lessons and discussion starters bring to life Bible verses about the character of God. I really like the conversation starters and the unique ways it helps parents connect with their kids, something I find more difficult the older my children get. This book is sure to give you great ideas and an easy format of daily devotionals to have more meaningful time with your children. The Kindle edition format is a bit hard to read since there is not a really clear heading when one day turns into another. I would probably suggest the paper version unless the kinks get worked out a bit on the ePub formatting.Note: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher/author in exchange for my honest review.
