2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Worth Reading By Wilson D. I wasn't intending to write a review on this book, but this one-star review by 'iso perfection' really provoked me! What cut off pages are you talking about? I read this book on my mobile phone and it couldn't have been a better experience. The pages are very well organized, the font is big enough and the charts and colorful and extremely detailed. I am not sure that was an all innocent review from 'iso perfection'! I read the book indeed in one day and I learned a LOT! If you have a problem with the book display you go contact Amazon because this is their responsibility. Now back to the book itself, if you have previous technical analysis experience, you may skip the first two chapters, which is like 15% of the book. After that, the real experience of the author kicks in. Well worth reading!

It took me longer than one day to read it, but I really felt like I got the feel for making accurate predictions. I tested myself (using the techniques I learned in the book) and accurately found buy and sell points in multiple simulations. I feel like I am ready to put real money on the line soon after I go back and re-read some of the important chapters. I have been trying to educate myself on technical analysis for a long time and have sifted through the tons of stuff on the Internet on free websites, but haven't found the level of PRACTICAL advice that the author teaches in this book. I highly recommend it for people who are self-learners and want to learn more about this aspect of investing.

Charting is the foundation of technical analysis and you must understand the five key data figures. The author simplifies this. Also, he stresses knowledge of the tools; trends, volume, the indicators and so on individually and collectively. This book should be used a reference guide for seasoned or experienced analyst. People new to this should make this their bible. This book is a lightweight in length when compared to similar books on the same topic. However, this is power-packed. Nicely done.

God has now used my pain and my struggles as a stepping-stone for me to reach the place of my purpose. God has a lot to say to the world, so never be afraid to go above and beyond your comfort zone. Stretching is the ability to be pushed and pulled, but yet still bouncing back stronger than ever. After reading this book I hope it gives you inspiration so that no matter what we may think is wasted, God can use it to bring healing to someone else. That gifts and anointings are not only to be used behind the pulpit. God wants us to reach out further and let our light shine.

About the Author Kimeka T. Langley, is a native of a small community called Dunbar, located in Georgetown, South Carolina, accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. At that time she attended Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. As far as she can remember, Kimeka has always had a passion to write poetry. God has given her the anointing to effectively reach out to others bringing comfort, healing and hope. Her writings come straight from the heart of God. Ms. Langley's style of writing is rare because each poem tells a story that touches someone's life. This is her ministry to the world and God has equipped her with everything she needs for the journey. In addition to poetry writing, Kimeka is a singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, playwright and author. She currently lives in Loris, South Carolina and is a member of Trust God Ministries, the place where that she learned that she was born to unlock her destiny. I hope the author will re-introduce it in December as a true Christmas Story. I don't think the author intended this tale to point to a real modern social issue, that of a young homeless woman with two small children, but as it turned out, that is what happened. Sometimes we overlook helpless, weak people, for absolutely no fault of their own , they find themselves on the street, homeless, with little money, and two little ones to care for.This is what happens in this sweet emotional story.The author expertly threw Noell and Nick together in a subtle but honest way, and by the end of the story, you will hope and wish for these two to find their way home...together with Noell's two young children. Tears came to my eyes at one point in the story, and if you read it, you'll know.Well done, Rebecca Vickery.Five StarsRising Star Reviews

By Baker Bronte I became a fan of Ms. Salpeter's when I picked up her full length novel, The Mannequins, so I picked up a copy of Ricket Row almost as soon as it came out! Ricket Row is a compilation of horror vignettes and short stories that promises a little something for every horror reader. It is so crazily good that I read it in two short sittings, and had bedtime not been calling I would have devoured the whole thing in a sitting!As a serious Poe fan, I couldn't resist The Pilgrimage to Poe. It was a seriously cool take on the mystery person who is famous for leaving a remembrance in honor of Poe at his grave every year. As a devotee of Chinese food, I ate up Mr. Wong's Amazing Wok and the sinister reason why the heroine can't quit eating his house special dumplings. And Mr. and Mrs. Odd got inside my head and is haunting me hours later.Ms. Salpeter writes horror with the best of authors, carefully constructing creepy, chilling, vivid atmospheres with a fast pace that takes you from shivering to hiding under the blankets in a handful of page turns. She takes the horror genre and preys on your psyche, delivering epic blows without the gore factor. Looking for a horror anthology to shake your nerves? This is it!

Salpeter can turn a tale and scare you to the point you may wish to keep the night light on. A couple of these stories had me glancing into dark corners of the room.

The title story is terrific in addition to several others(let's just say that I'll never look at Asian cuisine the same way)and I thoroughly enjoyed many of these creepy, quirky little tales.

IT introduces you to the main character very well. The best part is, when the plot gets going and he is in deep you don't know what is really happening until way later in the book. All in all a good book to read.

Sometimes dark, always fantastic By Geert Daelemans Wonderful Stories For Children collects some of the lesser known stories of the Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen, with the one exception being The Constant Tin Soldier. The complete list of stories: Shut-Eye (Ole Lukøje, 1842), The Daisy (Gåseurten, 1838), The Naughty Boy (Den uartige Dreng, 1835), Tommelise (Tommelise, 1835), The Rose-Elf (Rosen-Alfen, 1839), The Garden of Paradise (Paradisets Have, 1839), A Night in the Kitchen, Little Ida's Flowers (Den lille Idas Blomster, 1835), The Constant Tin Soldier (Den standhaftige tinsoldat, 1838) and The Storks (Storkene, 1838).Children’s stories have come a long way since the time Andersen wrote these little fairy tales, so it is very doubtful if any modern child would still be enraptured by the imagination captured in these little gems. All of them bathe in a pool of nostalgia that will certainly appeal to the more mature reader. The genius of the author lies in being able to elevate mundane little things to wonderfully fantastic proportions, as probably best showcased in Little Ida's Flowers, one of the longer stories of this collection. Certainly when death is the subject of a tale, which happens more than once, you get to see Anderson at his darkest. Makes you wonder what kind of impact this would have had on the youngsters of the first half of the 19th century.The fantasy used by Anderson is quite transcendent and allegoric and will often lead to more insight after a second reading.

The author had a great plot to begin with and then the cowboy's strong character, not to mention his sexy accent and hot looks, made the reading experience a whole lot more interesting.highly entertaining storyline and has created a very pleasant to read book here.

About the Author Geboren am 22.5.1859 in Edinburgh/Schottland. Sein Vater stammte aus einer aristokratischen irischen Familie. Doyle studierte Medizin an der Universität Edinburgh und erhielt 1885 seinen Doktortitel. Mit dem Schreiben begann er 1879, um sein Studium bezahlen zu können. Seine Praxis in Southsea/Portsmouth brachte ihm nicht genügend Patienten und ließ ihm Zeit zur Fortsetzung seiner schriftstellerischen Tätigkeit. Seine erste Sherlock Homes Geschichte "A Study in Scarlet" wurde 1887 veröffentlicht. 1902 wurde Doyle geadelt, weil er ein patriotisches Pamphlet auf eigene Kosten veröffentlichte. Er war sehr an sportlicher Tätigkeit interessiert und soll angeblich das Skifahren in der Schweiz eingeführt haben. Er war zweimal verheiratet und hatte 5 Kinder. Doyle starb am 7.7.1930 in Crowborough/Sussex.

Long Delayed Revenge By Acute Observer Das Tal des Grauens / The Valley of Fear“The Valley of Fear” begins when Inspector MacDonald arrives with news of the horrible murder of Mr. Douglas of Birlstone Manor House, which is isolated by a forty foot moat. Douglas came from golden California a wealthy man. A shotgun blast destroyed his face, only a brand on his arm identified him. Holmes talks to the people involved, he knows some are lying. He is able to solve this killing. This leads to Part 2, a fictionalized story of the anthracite coal wars in 1870s Pennsylvania. Violence by the coal company during a long strike was answered with violence by the miners. A Pinkerton agent infiltrated the miner’s union, gained their confidence, and began collecting evidence. This miner’s group was called the “Mollie Maguires”. This group was caught in the act, convicted, and hanged. The miners threatened the informer with revenge. During another recession the mine owner was dismissed from his position and later died a suicide.I wonder if an agent provocateur was used to create crimes? This is the least known of the long stories, a good history book will tell you more.

It was interesting to see a man, often overlooked in California history, brought to life through the accounts, and stories that not many people know about. Christian Clifford's passion in the subject of Junipero Serra demonstrates not only in this narrative, but through much time-consuming it probably took to research on this man. Recommended to those who have a love for California history, and religious history.

This book is for Roman Catholic and Evangelical Protestant lay people who wonder what relationship, if any, they might have with their friends who come from a different Christian faith tradition than their own. The authors aim to address that question in a practical way. They believe that while disagreements remain, it is possible to preserve the integrity of the faith while relating positively to Christians who cherish other beliefs. The opinions expressed in this book grew out of nearly thirty years of experience as evangelical protestant missionaries ministering in catholic parish communities in France. The goal of the book is to move the readers beyond simply understanding each other, to a place where they might begin using their diversity to stimulate and encourage each other in our common pursuit of obedient discipleship. We know of no other book which targets ecumenical lay relations in this way.

It rates right up there with my childhood favs of Zigger Beans and Mushroom Center Disaster. Little Red Bear has much to tell us about nature, folklore and ourselves. I especially liked the jamboree and wish I could've been there. I can't wait for the next set of tales!

A Charming Collection of Tales Beautifully Written By Kathleen Creighton I bought this book as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, but purchased a Kindle copy for myself as well. I am so very glad I did. I love this book for several reasons. First and foremost, because it is a charming tale--or collection of tales--beautifully and amusingly written. Second, because it is just chock full of information about wildlife and nature and the outdoors and animals and all that stuff I'm interested in, and believe children need to learn. The setting is the Ozark Mountains, but anyone living just about anywhere can find familiar images and scenes with which to identify. But the really cool thing about this book is that its author refuses to "write down" to children. James Milson uses language and sentence structure that might actually challenge (gasp) young minds, while at the same time keeping adult readers from dozing off mid-sentence. Because here's the last thing I love about this book: It is meant to be read aloud to children. I think being read to as small children is what makes folks grow up to be readers. I highly recommend parents add "The Adventures of Little Red Bear: The First Holler:" to their children's read-aloud library.

By Judith P A truly delightful collection of short stories reminiscent of Beatrix Potter's Tales of Peter Rabbit and Kenneth Grahame's Wind in the Willows. Wonderful, colourful characters and something to be learned from each story. Even the introduction is a charming read - although I was aware of some of the terms that are used in the stories, there were a few that were new to me. I particularly enjoyed The Rescue of Little Red Bear and The Storm - cozy stories that I am looking forward to sharing with my granddaughter when she gets a bit older. James, thank you for the introduction to Little Red and friends and I look forward to future tales.

I struggled with picking this book of to read because I allowed my thoughts of possible wounds being re-opened. It was not until I came in contact with a family member, who abused one of my close family members, that I realized I was harvesting so much hate and anger towards molesters. Past experiences were controlling my life. I was allowing the molester to have power he did not deserve. Because I refused to be defeated and live my life in bondage, as I have been taught by Pastor Beckwith, I fought through the tears and fears, I must say, and read THIS WONDERFUL PEACEFUL BOOK. I wish so much that I had read this book before the molester and I were faced eye to eye again. I now know that my approach would have been different. The examples, backed up by scriptures; brought such a calmness, I never expected. I HIGHLY encourage EVERYONE whom has been violated by any crime to Please Read This Book. THERE IS HEALING FOR THE READER. It opens your mind from a different prospective. My favorite lines in the book is "God restored her. Her confidence, love, peace, joy, reputation, and her relationship with the Father...ALL RESTORED.

For me it came just in time because a day later I found out some news that this book helped me get it through and with the help of the Lord.
