About the Author Bakari K. Beckwith has ministered for nearly 20 years. In 2009, he founded Victory Temple Church in Winnsboro, Louisiana where he currently serves as Senior Pastor. In addition, Bakari teaches on both the high school and collegiate levels and devotes much of his time as a high school basketball coach, mentor and motivational speaker. Bakari has been highly instrumental in the lives of many others however, some of his most significant roles are as devoted husband to his loving wife Yolanda and father to their beautiful children Kaidyn, Jackson, and Dailen.

I struggled with picking this book of to read because I allowed my thoughts of possible wounds being re-opened. It was not until I came in contact with a family member, who abused one of my close family members, that I realized I was harvesting so much hate and anger towards molesters. Past experiences were controlling my life. I was allowing the molester to have power he did not deserve. Because I refused to be defeated and live my life in bondage, as I have been taught by Pastor Beckwith, I fought through the tears and fears, I must say, and read THIS WONDERFUL PEACEFUL BOOK. I wish so much that I had read this book before the molester and I were faced eye to eye again. I now know that my approach would have been different. The examples, backed up by scriptures; brought such a calmness, I never expected. I HIGHLY encourage EVERYONE whom has been violated by any crime to Please Read This Book. THERE IS HEALING FOR THE READER. It opens your mind from a different prospective. My favorite lines in the book is "God restored her. Her confidence, love, peace, joy, reputation, and her relationship with the Father...ALL RESTORED.

For me it came just in time because a day later I found out some news that this book helped me get it through and with the help of the Lord. It's a wonderful book to read and now I have my children each reading the book and they're finding it easier to open up to me. Thank you again for allowing God to use you in such an awesome way.
