It is best read after reading Greene's Calling as this story is about Conrad Greene and the time when he meets his soulmate, Laura. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is that I would have liked to see more of the relationship between Conrad and Laura. However, you get to see Conrad's role in the war which is very interesting. I think that if you enjoy other books by this author, you will definitely enjoy this one.I did receive an eARC for an honest review.

Conrad is just trying to do his job but hitting resistance every step of the way until Laura enters the picture and everything changes, including his heart. Laura wasn't expecting her heart to get involved when she came on this mission. I love how A.D. Starrling brings two souls together in her stories.I received this book for an honest review.

I have never read a book by her that has been bad or boring and The Hunger is no exception. I love Conrad and Laura and reading how they met was wonderful. She has another winner on her hands.
