Fun, uplifting romatic read By Graphics Dude I've read a few of the books in Sara Hill's Mail Order Bride series and they have all been fun, uplifting little romantic novella's. I particularly like the way Ms. Hill transforms timeless personal struggle and romantic conflict to a classic ( by now if you have followed the series ) 1800s western setting - with situations relevant to that setting. This author has a knack for taking down-trodden women and showing how they grow through adversity and love. Mary, the main character in this book had so many obstacles she had to overcome, and it's a joy to follow her along that path (pun intended). On the technical side, her characters seem surprising well developed for such a short story and I find her period focused analogies entertaining. I look forward to being drawn into more of the Mail Order Bride series.

By j. miller Another fantastic read by Sarah Joy Hill.i felt compassion for Mary and what she had to endure. i love the way this author shows how a young woman transforms into a courageous, strong person by overcoming the obstacles that stand in her way. the story is a perfect blend of romantic underpinnings and unexpected drama. Her stories are all page turners and extremely entertaining. I have read all five books and can't wait for the sixth one to come out. I am a die hard fan of this author.

I don't know how Sarah Hill keeps publishing these as fast as she does but it really beats late night TV. Once you pick one up you will be awake until it's finished. Her knowledge of the western frontier and life for the frontier folks is grappling, intuitive, and so visual. One can almost smell the aroma of coffee and the plains and the stark depravity of those that survived in those times. Thank you Ms. Hill another breathtaking novel.
