By Amazon Customer Dustin frequently speaks at major attorney marketing conferences about new business generation and this book encapsulates all of these topics in one place. If you have ever watched Dustin speak you will love this book, it is worth its weight in gold.

An Important Tool for Creating a Successful Practice or Small Business By Franklin This is a great book, well written and chock full of facts about the importance of sales and marketing to professionals like attorneys and physicians, but you don't have to be a physician or lawyer to use it as a guide, any small businessman should read it. It's not a fluff piece with pie-in-the sky high-on-me, the sun is always shining slogans and cliches. Ruge's book concerns itself with the nuts and bolts of marketing and selling your small business, and the win/loss statistics of different approaches to planning, marketing, and selling. Topics covered:Sales PlanningProspecting (creating awareness)The Sales ProcessSelling EffectivenessClosing the SaleMarketing SuccessMarketing ResourcesTalking about sales and processes isn't the most exciting topic, but Ruge keeps it moving well with interesting statistics and anecdotes. The crisp message focused on YOU and what YOU can do to be successful is the core of Dustin's message.Every chapter will have an impact on how you sell, and how you approach every customer. "The attitude of the seller is more important than the attitude of the buyer" comes to mind every day- not just with the customers I sell to, but with my team. The step by step guide on how to close a sale in Chapter 5 has been at my desk for weeks- I read it every day! This book is a must in your toolkit to make your business successful.
