I wasn't. I totally dropped the ball on this one so I feel it's only right that I warn others. That's not to say you should pass on this book, just be prepared for a little screaming at the end and not the fun, lust induced variety.Now that my cliffy rant is out of my system, let me just say ~ READ THIS BOOK!! It's a relatively short read, it is a novella after all, and with that we always run the risk of not having enough time to really get to know our characters but that wasn't the case here. The author had no problem fully submerging us into their lives in the little bit of time that we had. These two were wicked hott together, sexy as hell, and funny too; it was an awesome combination, although Tabitha did show some frustrating stubbornness a few times, but I got where she was coming from-she was recently burned and acted accordingly. Now Dash... oohhh I LOVE that man! He doesn't know what it means to give up, he goes after what he wants and won't take no for an answer~he will wickedly seduce a yes out of you weather you want to or not, he may be confused by the feelings Tabitha is bringing out of him but he doesn't run away from them which is a nice change of pace. But damn that ending~seriously dude, WTF am I supposed to do with that?! I can assure you I will be monkey climbing the walls til the next installment comes out. As sadistic as Shantel Tessier has proved herself to be, she has still secured her spot on my One-Click Addiction list with this man... I mean book ;)I don't know what it is that I feel exactly for her besides lust. But something else is there. I'm not saying I love her or that I want to run off and get married tomorrow. Wooden I am a huge fan of Shantel Tessier's Undescribable series, so of course I was super excited for a new novella series with her. New characters, with new backgrounds and of course hot sex (since Shantel is known to write some HOT scenes)! And DASH definitely does not disappoint! This is a short novella that will definitely leave you wanting more."I look down to the speedometer on my bike and see that I'm doing ninety-two in a sixty-five. Fu**!"Erik "Dash" Dashling is reckless. He lives life in the fast lane. Getting in trouble with the law for driving way too fast on his bike is just his newest addition to his driving record. But somehow Dash always figures a way out of it. Between his charm, money, and quick talking he usually finds himself getting away with it. This time is no different except someone has stepped in to help him and offered him the chance to race professionally, something he has always wanted. By Helena (Bookhooked) This is part one of a series by the author of the Undescribable series, Shantel Tessier.This series is not connected to that series in any way and introduces us to a new set of characters.This novella has previously been published in an anthology but had had some new scenes added and re released in preparation for the continuation of Tabatha and Dash's story.I have read all of Shantel's work and I have had the pleasure of Beta reading for her and in my opinion this book is by far the best read.There is just something about both characters in this novella that just draw you in. Dash is ruthless and carefree and totally hot! A newly single Tabatha is geared up and ready for some fun out of the controlling hands of douche ex, Rodger. But when Dash and Tabatha crash together sparks fly and you can see Dash falling for the one girl he can't have.We have a whole set of new friends in Blake and Jackie, throw in Tabathas douchebag of an ex boyfriend, this book will have you gripped yo your e-readers and the urge to hurl it when it ends.
