About the Author Russell graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2000 with a BA in Philosophy. Naturally, he began a career as a computer programmer. Later, he went on to earn a MS in Computer Science. Somewhere along the way he earned a black belt, and then added a few stripes to it and opened his own dojo. Thinking that he didn't have enough hats to wear, he started publishing company Silver Empire and has written some stories and might write some more. He lives in north Alabama with his wife, three kids and three dogs in a house that still manages to have more computing devices than living beings where he attends a Roman Catholic church, continues to run his dojo, and works for a small software company.

An outstanding anthology of seven short stories that include a wide variety of locations. The reader will be transported from space to a dragon hole and even into a temple. For me, courage came ringing through in all of the short stories. Each and every one of these stories is well written and the editing is also accomplished with perfection.Most highly recommended.Please note that I received a PDF version of this anthology from the publisher Silver Empire for an unbiased review.

While some were beautiful and full, like The Blacksmith and the Ice Elves, some sort of fell short of their intended goal,Cookie's Crumbs, while still being entertaining. The one thing I didn't like were the editor's notes before every story. It was almost like a preface used to fill in plot holes-I wasn't too fond of it. Other than that, I think this is a great collection of short stories if you like fantasy or scifi anthologies. ***I was given a free copy in return for an honest review.

If you love adventure, courage, space, dragons, giants, elves, witches and knights..... ect, you will love this book!!!!
