He left town on the day of their wedding, left her standing at the alter. Then 12 years later he shows up and says he is sorry and he wants to explain and hopes to have a second chance. He wants to prove he is now worthy of her. He lives in London and is a writer. She lives in their small hometown and doesn't really want to leave. It is a simple, easy read.SPOILER - the term bad boy is used over and over. I didn't get it. His dad was a drunk so his life was not easy. He never did anything bad, just typical boy mischief stuff. Yet he is a BAD BOY...He didn't even ride a motorcycle or have a tattoo. I just didn't get that. He seems to be crazy about her still but I didn't pick up on any chemistry between the two. He is hot and she appreciates that. They both lost their virginity to each other but yet now as a 30 something she acts like the virgin should have acted! I just didn't feel it with this story. It was set in Europe so maybe I just didn't get the feel for the place and time. I would definitely not discourage anyone from reading the book because I really think that a lot of readers will enjoy it. It just didn't fit me!!I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am no kin to this writ4er. I am a reader and this is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
