Even though they grew up middle class, they still had issues. This proves that money can never take the place of love and attention that children need from their parents. The improved Amelie is the result of the love of a strong and good man. Hopefully in future books, Amelie and Smith will work through their differences. Forgiveness has to occur because April and Amelie's bond is only going to get stronger. Keep them coming Angelia.
