By Tony Tedeschi Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with Mark Smith in a variety of organizational landscapes and can attest that he has implemented what he writes about. What I enjoyed most about Distinctions is it demonstrates his ability to take a complex theory and break it down into short, simple lessons with corresponding thought-provoking questions. While each chapter takes only a few minutes to read, the Exercises from the Coach can be done quickly by an individual or developed into a hour-long, group discussion. I would consider this book for anyone looking to go to the next level in a company, an organization or in life.

Within one day I actively put two of the chapters/suggestions to use very successfully - it made a difference and resolved a tough leadership issue I was facing. More than paid for itself in one day. Well done!
