0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Mystery, Romance, Nostalgia All in One By Diane Kidman I've read the entire trilogy, and The Kindred Spirit was my favorite. There were lots of surprises, and the plot was well planned, full of mystery, and suspenseful; the characters were beloved and three-dimensional. It's a story that will stay with me. I'm also a sucker for a good ending, and I don't often feel like I get one, but this book definitely had it. A page turner, and one that will have me awaiting Ms. O'Brien's next novel.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Another wonderful book from Jane O'Brien By James M. Klarich Really enjoyed the third book of Jane O'Brian's trilogy. It was once again a book that I couldn't put down once I started reading it. Her descriptive prose had me feeling like I was actually there with her characters. I kept waiting for her to bring in some character or characters from the first two books and when she did it made so much sense. Not what I expected which made it a great read. I like being surprised.

There is much love and tragedy, drama, and suspense with twists and turns you never see coming . I loved this book and with all great books , you never want them to end . I can hardly believe " Jane O;Brian" came up with so many new ideas. Her historical accuracy on past happenings brought this story to life. I can't wait to start her new book . She is a great writer.
