By dpm47 When I was a child, I was 'afraid' that God would call me to the mission field. I worried about going hungry or being in danger. Mostly, I didn't want to eat bugs! If I had a child and wanted to teach him or her about listening to the voice of God and following His plan, I would begin with this book. This sweet, fact-inspired story follows a small boy and his friend on the adventure of a lifetime as they share their dreams with God and their God with others, meet new friends, see exotic, beautiful places, and have fun doing it. If I'd had this book as a child, I would not have feared that God would use me; I would have hungered for it. Something Big and Good is a simple, sweet story with a powerful message; it should be in the library of every Christian home.

By T Treadaway Dale Carver and Martha Templeton have created a relevant and uplifting not-just-for-children book that beautifully and simply explains how to share something really big and fantastically good--the love of God. Kudos also to Jason Wooten for his imaginative and joyful illustrations! Something Big and Good is a wonderful gift for ages 1 to 100!
