By Kristie The only reason for the negative review is that you should buy his other book and not this one. The author has basically the SAME book titled "The Encyclopedia of Lost and Rejected Scriptures" which is newer, has added material and for the same price. If you compare the two side by side you will see it is word for word the same book. If your going to get this book get the newer book for the same price with the added chapters. Not a lot of extra material - but if your going to buy this book get the newer one for the same price.

It's quite interesting and translated in a way that makes it easy to understand. The 1st & 2nd books of Adam & Eve are quite interesting to say the least. You get to see what happened after they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Plus, the Book of Jasher is very interesting. It's like Genesis only with more details. The stories of Noah's ark and Cain's murder of Abel are explained with more details and information. You'll find out exactly how Cain murdered his brother Abel. Oh, and Acts chapter 29 is revealed. The only reason why I gave this book 4 stars instead of five is because it failed to include the "Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ" which depicts Jesus' childhood. Other than that, this is a great book and I do recommend it.

A fascinating discovery of antiquity as a prologue to the Old and New Testaments. A small glimpse, as God allows His mysteries to reveal a rough draft of "In the Beginning." These lost books give us a peek at the characters before they were characters. Before JC and the boys, if you will, but straight from God. The author puts together an alarming amount of material together. Too much I gather, in fact I believe it might be ready for a leather edition or even a break down into volumes because it is a very heavy (physically) book. The print or text is rather small, one will need reading glasses. This printing needs to open up like the Bible. So publishers we need to work on the binding. It does not open flat like the Bible for reading and studying. There are a lot of WOW! moments. That is Holy Spirit revelations. It does bring a smile to your face and to some of us a tear (joy) as well. It is interesting, provocative, with more psalms and proverbs to dwell on and sincerely moving and spiritually inspirational. Devotionally appealing.
