There seems to be a slant toward a more juvenile audience than the language used would indicate. Several times the characters shift from fear of the unknown to sudden acceptance and broad knowledge. First incidence occurs very early as the drunken "heroes" hear a commotion in the streets, see groups of people in struggle and somehow through was was a drunken fog a scant moment ago is now a calm, cool statement of "oh, the dead have arisen and we have a plague of zombies". And later, these same former booze hounds suddenly all become walking GPS units of New Orleans, knowing all the side streets and highways.Really a heavy reliance on duex ex machina.
