He talks about the seven cultural pillars in businesses that get the most out of their front lines, and distills these into simple, actionable principles that could – and should – be adopted by any company that still wants to be in business five years down the road. What's interesting is that he shows time and time again that these companies don't burn their people out in a race to the bottom, but they instead recognize that the landscape of American enterprise has shifted to one of mutual respect.
