Masonis Imagine someone you foolishly thought of as one of your best friends turns out to be a vicious killer who promises to fully confess all his horrible deeds only to you, to help you launch your literary career. That's the frame for this and its sequels. The gruesomeness gets going fast with these and never lets up. If you can't face sadism and physical horror laid out for you in arterial red, you might consider giving this guy a pass.

I would have liked more of a back story to it, and to be honest that reporter/best friend of the serial killer was as cold blooded as the murderer. If this short story is continued, I'd read more of it. Yep, I'd recommend this story.
