As I read this book, I was lifted and transported from where I was to what I can be, inspired to press on. The book is not only easy to read, but inspiring. The book can be read from cover to cover like a best-selling novel, like a topical study guide to take your time, or as daily inspiration where you read a little bit each day to get a nugget to motivate you. No matter how you approach the book, it is a blessing.Gladys really has a gift to motivate anyone, no matter what their situation or background. In that way, this book transcends age, class, culture, and ethnic barriers, and speak to the universal heart that wants to be successful. I highly recommend this book. A must read for those who want to quit By Tiffany This book is a definite must read for anyone who has ever felt like throwing in the towel, for both the young and old alike. The pages are filled with encouraging scriptures, quotes and sayings to get you through any obstacle that life throws at you. Reading this book has rekindled the fire in my life, and is encouraging me to strive for deeper depths and higher heights in both my personal life as well as in my walk with Christ. If you need to be built up, or are just discouraged, then this is the perfect book to read. Gladys did a great job explaining and expounding upon central truths, that are oftentimes overlooked. I would recommends his book to anyone who's is looking for encouragement and strength, as they can be found among these pages. "Quitting, Not an Option" has now become a permanent part of my personal library and has a place among the best.

Gladys Goveia does not merely provide you with "encouragement to stay the course" as you would find in a lot of motivational speaker's literature. It is not a book full of sweet stories of success. It is a book that gives you exactly what God's Word says on any issue that would attempt to hinder you and make you quit. Mrs. Goveia provides BIBLICAL instruction for how to fight the good fight of faith and then gives you the ammunition from God's Word to overcome every tactic intended to keep you from victory. When you read this book you will have to cross "quitting" from your list of choices. You can succeed at every dream and goal given to you by God and this book will help you. Also, I know the author and know that she lives what she preaches.
