An enjoyable and satisfying conclusion to the "Days of New" series By Amazon Customer (April Renn/AprilR ) "Set in the same world as Meg Collett’s bestselling End of Days series comes the darkly comedic paranormal serial spin-off series, Days of New."GIVE THE DEVIL HIS DUE by Meg Collette is another New Paranormal. "Days of New Book" #5, the conclusion to her"Days of New" Paranormal serial. While, a stand alone, I feel the reader would enjoy this series better if this series is read in order, just my opinion!The conclusion to this highly anticipated tale of angels, the devil, demons, with an emotional roller coaster. While, this was an odd series in its trying to transform Lucifer himself, it is well worth your reading time, I feel. I enjoyed how Maya tries to transform Lucifer, Gabriel, Dante, and the others, but can love truly conquer all including Lucifer himself? This series is a dark, comedic Paranormal with twists and turns to be sure, as well as a wide roller coaster ride of emotions. Be warned, this story may not appeal to all, it is a great read. Sometimes, I just shook my head, others I actually cried, and even found myself angry at others. Yes, a wide range of emotions. Can this be true? Can love conquer all? Ms. Collette has a very vivid imagination, one in which the reader is left with many emotions, scratching their head, saying "WOW". "Days of New" is an epic journey, for both the characters and the reader. A beautifully written, dark comedic Paranormal. The conclusion to this series, is bittersweet, but wraps this series up nicely. A satisfying and enjoyable read. While, not all Paranormal readers will enjoy this series, it is a bit different, but an enjoyable read. It does make you wonder, what if...Fast paced with wonderful, albeit, flawed characters and an intriguing storyline. Well done! If you enjoy Paranormal Romance with a different aspect to the Devil himself, flawed characters, a war for one's soul, and intriguing characters, than don't miss this fantastic series. And boy, what an ending it has been!In this evil world, they had all become devils. Clark finally embraced his fate. He was a devil because he loved Camille too much, because he sacrificed Maya to Lucifer, and because he let Z die. He even offered his magic powers to Lucifer, just so they can attain peace.In the uncanny turn of events, Lucifer did not want Clark's powers. Lucifer was the devil who needed only one, and would do everything, even negotiate with Gabriel to stop the war, just so he could be with the one he truly loved - Maya.In the end, the real devils are the ones that manipulate the angels around them, the ones that whisper lies and empty promises to Lucifer's ears. The ones that had been once fallen angels.In the end, another life was lost. That of a demon. I never thought I'd cry for a demon. In the days of new, angels atone and re-united. In the days of new, hope became possible.I could only sigh and cry happy tears after reading this final book in the Days of New saga. This had been one helluva ride. Clark St. James left a mark in my heart, as well as Camille, Michaela, Maya and Lucifer. Yes, Lucifer! Who would have thought we'd fall for the Angel of Hell. Meg Collett had successfully wrapped up a wonderful and brilliant series. Only the best and the finest. Meg is one amazing brilliant writer! Now I'll never look at angels the same way again.

By Amanda Dalton And finally we reach the end of this wild roller coaster ride of The Days of New. It's the end, one way or another. After Zacahriel’s death, Gabriel and the rest of the Holy Angels are finally ready to get involved with what's left of the earth. Only their only target is Lucifer. They blame him even though he wasn't directly involved with Z's death. Had he not started this with framing Michaela, Z would still be alive. Clark knows another war cannot come. He has to get a message to Maya, her time is out. If she hasn't been able to save Lucifer, all hope is lost.Lucifer is amazed with Maya and her ways of thinking. She's a Nephilim, but she doesn't believe in the devil. She believes that Lucifer exists, but not as the devil. She doesn't believe that he is truly bad and that the Holy Angels are good. Slowly she tries to pull him out of his shell. She's also making progress with the demons in his service. Although they are terrified of their master, they are warming up to the lady. Dante, the demon assigned to her needs at the mansion, opens up to her and tells her of the plots that will send Lucifer to his doom. She knows her time is up and she has one shot left to convince him that he's not the devil he's been led to believe. Can she make a difference in time before Gabriel and his legion arrives at their doorstep?
