1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Why does this author not feel the need to write a complete story? By Old Knight She has great talent, but I DO NOT think it is fair to her readers to sell her stories one chapter at a time.Great story, poor presentation.

This author has the talent for weaving a great tale and drawing you in. I rated this 3 stars instead of 1 star because however unpolished, with a little effort- this writer has lots of potential.Sadly, each "segment" is such a frustratingly tiny portion of the whole story it isn't even worth the effort - just about the time things seem to be going somewhere, it ends, and you learn hardly any more information than you read in the first segment.I Really, Really dislike serials, this one is a major ripoff in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Disappointed!And, don't get me started on the poor editing- practically every other sentence has an error or a typo of some sort, maybe this story is translated from another language?How hard is it to get someone competent to proofread your writing before releasing it to the public???Will not be reading this series.....

Good story but too short By Jackie B Ms. Nixon writes an excellent story, but her cliff hanger came to quickly at only 46 pages for book 1 (per Amazon) & 37 pages for book 2 (again per Amazon)! For this reason, I don't give more than 3 stars. I received free copies of book volumes 1 & 2, but because of the number of pages, would not have even taken a look at these. I only consider 100+ page books as a purchase option, in fact I look at # of pages before even reading the book descriptions. Won't even bother to look let alone buy for what I consider novellas or short stories. Even though it's a good story, because of the length, won't bother to buy the remaining volumes. In my opinion, this should have been combined into no more than 2 volumes for the whole series.
