2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Nice debut for Ella J Carrington! By Jason I don't want to give away the story, so I'll skimp on the juicy details. However, I will say that this is a well-written book. It flows, the characters are intriguing and the story line is good. (There were definitely a few surprises that I didn't see coming --- it makes for a fun read!)I can't wait to read the second book in this series!

So finding a book that can help do this can sometimes be a challenge when there are so many books to choose from. But today I chose this one out of the masses.A Twisted Command, held me a few times, in a wonder of possibilities, as I do like to try and predict where my reader leads me. But this one got me on a turn of a page I didn't see coming.Drinking bars, and looking for bronze faces, Alexis learns how to smile in all the right places, and receives a spray of white flowers. Lucky girl, but is Leon the perfect man that all girls are hopeful of ?Not telling, you'll have to find that espionage, and tantalise feeling yourself. It's worth picking up and is an easy quick read, the ending has a good twist.

The story was gripping and kept you guessing in which direction it was taking you. Just when you think you have it figured out it twists directions leaving you guessing. I loved this book and would highly recommend it as a good read. I cannot wait for book two to see where this adventure takes Alexis and Leon.
