Ever wanted to imagine what it would be like at Ebbets Field watching Mickey Mantle? A few parts of the book reminded me of Field of Dreams. If you build it they will come. Similarly, if you read this book, you will get a feel for what it must have been like to spend an afternoon at Ebbets Filed. Highly recommended for sports fans and for those who like stories about the father-son relationship.

As a lover of baseball, the main character Greg Waltman resonated with me a great deal and his journey was wonderfully envisioned with a great twist. The dialogue was nicely put together and even though it is such a difficult theme there are many uplifting moments in it. Definitely a must read, I am glad I found this one.
