From the Author In 1988, I published my first book of Charles Spurgeon's writings, The Believer's Secret of Intercession (Andrew Murray Devotional Library) from Charles Spurgeon's and Andrew Murray's writings, which Bethany House Publishers has recently re-released as a Kindle book. Since then, I continued my study of Spurgeon, which has influenced all of my writing and publishing. Prior to publishing How to Find God Again from Charles Spurgeon's writings, I published The Prodigal Son: Two Messages from Charles G. Finney and Charles H. Spurgeon for Today (Finney and Spurgeon Face to Face Book 4) as a Kindle book. Spurgeon's sermon on Jesus' parable in that book so impressed and moved me that I decided to publish a book with all of Spurgeon's sermons on "The Prodigal Son," which would also include Spurgeon's sermons on Jesus' parables of "The Lost Sheep" and "The Lost Silver Coin." In order to make my collection of Spurgeon's sermons helpful to the most people, I added Study Questions on each of his messages and Spurgeon's Notes and my own Commentary of Luke 15. It is my hope that How to Find God Again will help people who are seeking to restore their relationship with God as well as those who want to help people find God for the first time or return to God after have strayed away. What a blessing to come to the truth and for some to be reminded that God loves the lost so much that he sent his son to find us. He left all he had just as the shepherd would leave all the sheep and go look for the lost one. I am using this book with my newly developed women's group.
